Rebecca Brochu has stopped by with a little "Pick Me Up" !

If I’m lyin’, I’m dyin’ when I say that today’s guest has probably been here more times than I have!! LOL!
Please help me welcome back, Rebecca Brochu and her latest M/M master-piece, Pick Me Up!!!

Bryce Huttner wasn’t looking for a one-night stand or a backroom fling when he agreed to go out with Jamie and Maddy, two of his closest friends, to the local club.  But, when he encountered a charming stranger on the dance floor, the man was almost enough to make him change his mind.  That was until the encounter was cut depressingly short.
When they eventually met again, Bryce was surprised to see that Felix’s interest in him had not wavered at all.  Felix seemed determined to win him over and had a never ending supply of horrible pick-up lines at his disposal.
Bryce quickly found himself torn between holding strong and giving into the desire to let Felix pick him up for real.

“If I kissed you, would you punch me?” Felix asked. He looked down at Bryce where they stood outside his front door.
The porch light Bryce had turned on before he left shined down on them.
Bryce laughed, low and breathy, and watched the way Felix’s eyes went dark. Felix’s hand on his shoulder tightened before loosening.
“Maybe,” Bryce said. He wasn’t serious, but was somehow unable to keep from teasing Felix. Low heat curled in his stomach, anticipation running high through his veins.
“Cold and cruel. Not sure if I want to risk it when I know how vicious you can be,” Felix said. He swooped down and did it anyway.
Felix’s mouth was soft against Bryce’s, his lips thin but soft. When Bryce opened his mouth for the welcomed thrust of Felix’s tongue, he tasted faint traces of chocolate and coffee. The kiss went hot, but stayed sweet with Felix in control, his mouth a hair shy of too gentle as he tangled his fingers in Bryce’s hair. Felix tilted his head and changed the angle of the kiss, made it deeper, hotter, a shade or two rougher, and Bryce groaned into it.
Bryce finally pulled back far enough to look up into Felix’s eyes. He stared at him, searched his gaze for a moment, and then had to admit he’d already made his decision. He’d made it as soon as Felix asked him out.
“Come inside with me?” he asked softly.
Felix’s eyes went wide then narrowed slightly. “You sure, Bryce? Because I don’t want this to be a one-time thing, I don’t want casual sex with you. If we do this, then I want us to do it right.” Felix’s face was serious, gaze sharp and attention focused.
That same warmth curl worked its way through Bryce’s chest, all because Felix wanted what he wanted. It was glorious.
“Oh yeah, I’m sure. We want the same thing, and we’ve known each other for months now. I’m tired of not admitting what I want, tired of not having you when it’s all I think about,” Bryce said, his voice low and steady, his gaze direct. He wasn’t ashamed of what he wanted, not now, not ever.
“So, I guess it’s safe to say those lines actually did work.” Felix grinned down at him, expression delighted, but filled with heat.
“Shut up,” Bryce said. The words came out as more of a huff before he reached up and pulled Felix back down into another heated kiss.
Felix ended the kiss then, pulled back and nudged Bryce forward to unlock his door. While Bryce was busy, Felix slid up behind him and dropped nipping kisses on the side of his neck. Bryce shivered and fumbled with his key as Felix chuckled, low and warm, behind him until he finally managed to get the door open.
He gestured for Felix to wait on the porch for a second as he slipped inside. He petted Snarl, reminded himself to introduce the two of them later, and then let the dog out into the fenced in yard. Felix waited for him underneath the light of the front porch. When Bryce got back, he noticed the way Felix looked, hair disheveled and mouth slightly swollen. Bryce couldn’t pull him forward into the house and another kiss fast enough.
They were noticeably wilder then. Their hands roamed over each other as Felix closed the door with his foot, and crowded Bryce against the nearest wall. Felix tugged at Bryce’s shirt until it slipped out of his waistband, and wasted no time in getting his hands on Bryce’s skin. He traced his way across Bryce’s stomach and up his chest. Felix raked Bryce’s nipples with his nails. Bryce gasped and bucked his hips up as he broke the kiss. His cock pressed against his zipper painfully as he panted up at Felix.
“Bedroom.” Bryce practically rasped the word out. He groaned low and deep in his throat when Felix’s mouthed at his neck, his tongue skating along his skin before he nipped him sharply.

Bryce pulled Felix’s shirt completely off then tugged at the fly of his pants as they stumbled towards his bedroom. Felix’s hands were just as busy, and by the time they managed to get to Bryce’s room, their shoes and socks were abandoned somewhere behind them. They stood at the end of his bed, panting, and stared at each other for a moment, and then Felix moved. He pushed Bryce, who fell back against the mattress, legs splayed and pants riding low on his hips.

New #MM Release - Blond Truth by Tamsin Baker! #GLBT #EroticRomance

Welcome my lovelies!!
One of my favorite frequent flyer authors, Tamsin Baker, is back today to share her “hot-off-the-eBook-presses” novel, Blond Truth!!
Check this bad boy out…

Tommy is thirty one, an architect, gay and gorgeous. Yet, no one has ever really ‘seen’ Tommy before. Sure, they all see his pretty face, blue eyes and hot arse, but they never care enough to see that he’s more than that. Tommy’s getting more frustrated by the day, especially with everyone pairing off. Even Marcus, his best friend and ex lover has found true love. But with little to no relationship experience, how will Tommy find what he needs when he doesn’t even know what that is.
Big Bear Ben is thirty nine, a power lifter and an extremely successful business man. He’s never found a man who holds his interest longer than a few months and, having spent ten years under a pile of paperwork, he probably wouldn’t have noticed them even if he had met them. Tommy, a mutual friend sparks his interest like no other. The gorgeous brat brings out Ben’s dominant side and when his chance arrives to get his hands on Tommy, he finds he’s unwilling to let go.

Excerpt:
Ben dropped his head and stopped, mere millimetres from Tommy’s lips.
“You sure you want this? I don’t want you to think I’m harassing you.”
Tommy shivered as Ben’s breath tingled across his skin. He shook his head avidly. “No.”
Ben didn’t move, just stared down at him. “No, what? Tell me what you want baby?”
Tommy swallowed the moan that rose. This guy was one sexy bastard. That voice was enough to make him weak at the knees. But first he had to beg a little, and rightly so considering his earlier behaviour. “I want you to kiss me.”
Ben didn’t wait a second more. His eyes flared a little, then he bent forward and kissed him. If you could call it that. This kiss was out of this world. Ben had thick, soft lips that demanded a response. Tommy moaned low in his throat as Ben swept his tongue inside and tasted him.
His neck muscles loosened, and his head began to tilt away from the kiss. Ben’s hands moved quickly, one cupped the back of his head, anchoring him in place, while the other hand slid down to his hip.
Tommy moaned again and pushed up against the wall of muscle, needing to get closer. He ran his hands down Ben’s back, stopping at the sculpted arse to squeeze hard.
Ben growled and pulled back, panting and trembling. “You are too much.”
A surprised laugh flew out of Tommy. He had never been accused of being too much of anything.  “You going to take me home, big man?”
Ben’s cock was thick and hard between them, making Tommy’s balls ache for release. He really wanted some of that.
Slowly, Ben shook his head and Tommy flushed with anger and embarrassment. He struggled to get up and away from this big idiot who he’d actually thought had wanted him mere seconds ago. Big hands came down on him, pulling his arms behind his back.
Something strange surged inside Tommy as he fought and couldn’t get free. “Let me go Ben.”
Ben chuckled and bit down on the chord of muscle that ran down Tommy’s neck. He shuddered as another wave of longing passed over him.
“No way, baby.”
Tommy stopped struggling and Ben kissed along his jaw, the soft lips driving him crazy. “Well, why the hell not then? Don’t you know today is my birthday?”
Fuck! He wanted to call the words back as soon as he had said them. He sounded about twelve.
Ben pulled back to look at him, yet effortlessly kept Tommy immobile. His brown eyes were assessing and intense as they bore into him.
“Really? Well birthday boy, I want time to enjoy this gorgeous body of yours and I don’t have any tonight. Go out with me tomorrow night and if you’re a good boy then, I’ll take you home.”
Ben’s voice had dropped half an octave and if Tommy was less aroused he would have been offended by that offer.
“Where?”
Was that his voice all breathy and wanting?
Ben dropped a kiss on his lips and Tommy pressed his pelvis harder into the man holding him so tight. A strangled, needy noise rose from Ben and Tommy smiled to himself.

National Suicide Prevention Week ~ September 8-14, 2013

     Welcome back, my friends!!
This week is no ordinary week here on Tyler's Naughty notions, and to be honest, it's a week I would rather not have need of at all.
Unfortunately, there is a need and as a member of society in general, and a fellow humanoid on this planet, it's a week I cannot ignore anymore than I could ignore the reason for it.
What week is this, you might ask?

"Suicide Prevention Week"

For me, personally, as an author of gay romance and as a mother of four kids between the ages of 15 and 21, this issue is always in the back of my mind. Perhaps more so when it comes to issues within the younger members of the LGBT community.
As a mother, I've always had a motto, and have repeated it to my children so many times they've begun to roll their eyes when I say it, not because they don't believe me, but because they already know my unconditional love is real and that I shouldn't have to remind them continuously.
But I do it anyway.
     What's my motto?

I would rather have a gay child than a dead one!!

It sounds like a harsh thing to say, but unfortunately too many parents feel just the opposite and that's not only a shame, it's a downright slap in the face to good, loving parents everywhere, and unfair to the kids stuck with intolerant, uneducated, close-minded parents.
The world has enough hate in it, and the last place that should be felt or experienced is within a family and their home.

You will have to forgive me if I sound jaded. I try very hard not to, so let me get off of my soapbox and add that there are plenty of young people out there who have accepting parents, family and friends, who DO love unconditionally and ARE understanding, yet the child still struggles with depression.
Young people have a lot to deal with already and when confusion or questions about their sexuality gets thrown into the mix, emotions can run high and even be overwhelming at times.
I've struggled with questions about sexuality myself as a young woman, and it was tough feeling isolated and wondering if everyone knew how I felt or what thoughts ran through my mind.

It's perhaps one reason why I am so open-minded and empathetic the LGBT community and kids dealing with these issues today.
     I've been there, done that!!
A lot of people have felt the same, regardless of the conclusion they finally came to when they finally figured it all out like I did. It takes time, a lot of soul-searching and a willingness to be honest with ourselves, which isn't always easy.
Some struggles are more difficult and situations vary in degrees, but no matter what, or how hopeless it may feel in THIS moment, it doesn't always have to be this way!!
There is light to show the way out of the darkness and there is hope for confusion to turn into clarity. And the best part is that nobody has to do it alone.

We're much more fortunate when it comes to finding support and a friendly ear today. All anyone has to do is reach out and allow someone who's been there and understands, to take their hand and guide them through the minefield of questions and uncertainty.

Just remember: You are worthy of happiness, love and most if all hope! Hugs!!

A Beautiful Lie by Tyler Robbins is NOW available in PRINT!

Welcome to September!!
I love starting off a new month with good news!! Today's news isn't good, it's AWESOME!!

It finally happened... My Best-Selling M/M novel, "A Beautiful Lie" is now available in PRINT!!!

Jesse Reagan has had more than his share of tragedy, and he may have been dealt another blow when, once again, cancer threatens the sister who raised him.
Faced with the possibility of being left behind, Jesse vows to care for her young son, though he’s not convinced he can.
When Trip Cantrell returns to town, he’s blindsided the instant he’s reunited with his kid brother’s lifelong friend, Jesse. His inability to find happiness in the years he’s been gone, suddenly makes sense. Love’s been waiting at home all along.
Life begins to look promising, except for the fact that neither have come out of the closet publicly, and that’s not even their biggest problem. Someone has a secret so shocking they may never find a way past it.
Will they be accepted in their small Texas town, or will secrets, lies, and the threat of tragedy destroy everything?

Some small towns just aren’t meant to hold big secrets.

     ADULT EXCERPT:
Trip could feel the tension radiating from the other man. Following his instincts, he gripped Jesse’s shoulder and squeezed. “You’re not alone you know. If you ever want to talk or need help with anything, let me know.”
Jesse turned his head, shocking the hell out of Trip by leaning in to where Trip held his shoulder, slightly brushing his cheek against Trip’s fingers.
Trip tightened his grip, savoring the feel of Jesse’s skin touching his. Was he imagining it?
Jesse slowly lifted his chin as his green eyes, darkening by the second, settled on Trip.
Trip’s heart raced, and his hardening c**k pressed against the zipper of his jeans. Was this really happening?
He inched closer, inhaling deep, losing himself in the aroma of Jesse’s quite memorable cologne. He swallowed hard, his lips tingling at the thought of Jesse’s mouth on his.
Jesse’s chest rose and fell, his breathing grew louder by the second, infiltrating Trip’s mind until his own breaths caught up, matching Jesse’s pants breath for heated breath. Jesse’s eyelids lowered to half-mast, his desire obvious as f**k.
Trip reacted on instinct alone, no thinking, just doing. He pulled Jesse closer until their lips were centimeters apart. Jesse’s exhales warmed Trip’s skin.
The night went silent the instant Jesse’s soft lips grazed Trip’s.
Seconds felt like hours until Trip engulfed Jesse’s mouth all together. With hungry sweeps, Trip dove deeper, sucking, and tangling his tongue with Jesse’s. He cupped the back of Jesse’s neck, and held on as their mouths warred for dominance over the other.
Trip gasped when Jesse’s wandering hand discovered his erection through his jeans. “F**k.”
Hot air poured over Trip’s neck as Jesse’s kisses blanketed his throat.
“I’ve wanted to do that all night.” Trip splayed his fingers through Jesse’s silky, black hair, hoping against hope Jesse would move his mouth lower.
Jesse fumbled with the buttons on Trip’s shirt, and plucked the first few open. He worked his way across Trip’s chest, circling Trip’s erect nipples with his warm, wet tongue. “S**t, Jesse.” Trip struggled to catch his breath. Everything was so intense, moved so fast, Trip could hardly tell if it was real.
He leaned Jesse back, seizing the few stolen moments he hoped were actually happening. His kisses grew heavier, and his need increased. He’d take it as far as Jesse would let him. He had no choice. Please let this be real.
